Vanish 334 Loudspeaker Cable
The Vanish 334 is the flagship product of SMR Cable Technologies. These cables are constructed of four AWG#7 litz conductors woven in a tightly coupled configuration, using two conductor per polarity run resulting in an equivalent AWG#4 conductor cable.
DESIGN
Fundamentally Flawless
Each Vanish 334 cable consists of individually enameled, oxygen free, 33 gauge conductors (0.18 mm diameter) — a diameter far below the electromagnetic skin depth of copper at the upper end of the audio frequency range, but not so fine that proximity effect losses are introduced. This allows for a consistent resistance across the frequency range and the low resistance and inductance benefits of a massive cross sectional area cable without the tradeoffs in capacitance. Typical ‘audiophile’ cables are multi-stranded but do not utilize a litz configuration consisting of such fine individually insulated strands, resulting in unavoidable compromises and additional signal loss.
DESIGN
Eliminate Signal Loss
Vanish cables are designed not only with an exceptionally large effective cross-sectional area but a unique braided and interwoven design to minimize inductance without a commensurate increase in capacitance. This inherently eliminates susceptibility to induced voltages from exterior magnetic fields at power frequencies and higher frequency harmonics created by the amplifier input current.
This results in essentially negligible signal loss between your amplifier and speakers at all frequencies and particularly for audio signals at the extremes of dynamic range and power transfer.
Each Vanish 334 cable is constructed using two interwoven and braided Litz conductors per phase resulting in a net AWG#4 cross sectional area per cable polarity. Each conductor is designed specifically for an absolute minimum and consistent impedance across the audio frequency range
DESIGN
Built for Extreme Duty
While you would never do this in practice, Vanish 334 cables can actually conduct over 50A of current at 20 kHz all day long (25,000 Watts into an 8 Ohm load!!) and still run well below the cable rating. At normal levels, the signal loss of Vanish cables is essentially negligible. Compare this to typical audiophile cables for elevated levels of current and frequency.
