The Vanish line of loudspeaker cables were designed and developed by Steven M Raedy, P.E.

Mr. Raedy holds two degrees in electric power engineering and has spent a 30 year career developing innovative power electronic products and analyzing power systems for electric utilities. Mr. Raedy also invented and developed one of the few multi-kW inductive charging systems sold commercially for electric vehicles. Mr Raedy is a home audio enthusiast whose interests also include astronomy and aviation.

The SMR Cable Technologies loudspeaker cable designs are based on years of experience in refining designs requiring high efficiency, accuracy, and proper management of electric and magnetic fields.
